there is 3 months 4 times in a year so double that and we have 8 times. 250 x 8 = 2000 so 2000 crickets in 2 years

Confused with a question. Will upvote! Suppose a population of 250 crickets doubles in size every 3 months. How many crickets will there be after 2 years? Would it be 4,000 crickets or 64,000 crickets?
