Assuming that the planet Venus is a perfect sphere, we can use the formula for the getting the surface area of the sphere to approximate the surface area of Venus.
The formula is:
SA = 4π r^2
SA = 4π (3760.4)^2
SA = 177,696,122.9 square miles
