In an experiment, the weight that mice gain is the dependent variable and the temperature of the environment is the independent variable. What must be held constant to obtain valid experimental results?

: The constant variable in this experiment would be the quantity of the food that is fed to the subject. Since constant variable is defined as the variable that needs to be controlled, thus keeping them constant with all the experiments equally will make it valid.
