How can I solve this system of equation x+2y=6 2x-3y=26

Change x+2y=6 into x=6-2y, then put that in for x in the next equation, so 12-4y-3y=26, or 12-7y=26, -7y=14, y=-2. Put -2 as y into the first equation and x-4=6, x=10. So x=10, y=-2
