In what ways are cellulose and starch similar to each other and in what ways are they different?

They're similar because both of them are polymers. They're also both composed of glucose. The only difference is that in starch, all the glucose units are positioned in one direction.

Cellulose and Starch are pretty similar in different way. Both came from glucose and are water soluble. They help in making plants grow. The starch is used as an energy provider to plants while cellulose helps in the plant’s structure.
