We have the equation 2x-3y=6

We need to solve the equation for y

We'll perform some operations to isolate the variable y

First, subtract 2x on both sides of the equation

-3y=6-2x

Now divide by -3:

$y=(\mleft(6-2x\mright))/(-3)$

The variable y is now isolated
