What is the inverse of the equation y = 2x - 3?

The word inverse means something that is the opposite or reverse of something else. So the inverse of the equation would be y=2x+3

to find inverse, switch the x and y and then make y the subject so:
x = 2y - 3
x + 3 = 2y
y = (x + 3) / 2
