Since the two triangles are similar with the following equalities
BL/FJ = JF/FK
(x+6)/4 = (3x+2)/6
Cross-multiplying,
6(x+6) = 4(3x+3)
Distibuting,
6x+36 = 12x+8
Solving for x,
6x - 12x = 8 - 36
-6x = -28
x = 4 2/3

The answer is (2) 4 2/3
