Squared feet is basically area. A=lxw. A=18 1/5 X 8 2/5. Make both fractions improper: 91/5 X 42/5 = 3822/25. Since he painted half the wall multiply by 1/2: 76 22/50. Simplify: 76 11/25 square feet will be painted :) I hope this helps!
