Answer: b. 22

Explanation:

The slope of a line passing through two points A(a,b) and B(c,d) is given by:_

m=(d-b)/(c-a)

Let the missing coordinate of point R be y.

Then , the slope of the line passing through the points R(0,y) and (-4,2) will be :_

5=(2-y)/(-4-0)\\\\\Rightarrow\ 5=(2-y)/(-4)\\\\\Rightarrow\ -4*5=2-y\\\\\Rightarrow\ y=2+20=22

Hence, the missing coordinate of point R is y= 22
