The 2 dice are six-sided and the quarter is a coin with head and tail.

The probability that you will roll a sum of 7 can be calculated below

Rolling a sum of 7 can be

(1, 6)(2, 5)(3, 4)(4, 3)(5, 2)(6, 1)

p(\text{ sum of 7)=}\frac{favorable\text{ outcome}}{\text{total outcome}}=(6)/(36)=(1)/(6)

The probability of flipping a head can be calculated below

p(H)=(1)/(2)

Therefore,

p(\text{ sum of 7 and a head)=}(1)/(6)*(1)/(2)=(1)/(12)
