Length = x + 60 ft
Width = x
Perimeter = 520

Perimeter = 2(L+W)
520 = 2(x+60) + 2(x)
520 = 2x + 120 + 2x
520 = 4x + 120
520 - 120 = 4x
400 = 4x
400/4 = x
100 = x

Length = x + 60 = 100 + 60 = 160 ft
Width = x = 100 ft

Area = Length * Width
A = 160ft * 100ft
A = 16,000 ft²
