It was a decade of creativity which best describes the cultural changes of the youth movements in 1960's. This period was influenced by the Civil Rights movement. It was also in the decade were the youths tried to create new subculture like the Bohemianism, the rise of the hippie, rock songs by the Beatles and there was lesser censorship in the movies.
