Please help me out, asap! :-) Thank You very much... A particle accelerates from rest with an acceleration of 3m/s^2 to a speed V. It continues at this speed for time T and then decelerates to rest at 1.5m/s^2. The total time for the motion is 1 minute and the total distance travelled is 1km. Find the value of V.
Please help me out, asap! :-) Thank You very much...

Well if all you're looking for is speed, then it should be about 17m/s because speed is distance/time, so if you convert 1km/min to m/s then you get 1000/60, and that equals 16.66..., rounded equals 17m/s. Hope I helped!
