4x^2 + 4x^2 = 4*4*x^2+2 = 16x^4
So, yes, the answer is 16x to the fourth power (16x^4).

4x² * 4x² =
We can change the order of the factors
4 * 4 * x² * x² = 16 * x²⁺² = 16*x⁴ = 16x⁴
Answer 16x⁴
