The horizontal axis represents variable A which means that variable A is ploted in the x-axis.
Each point is plotted (x, y) (i.e. the first number represents the value of variable A).
Therefore, the mean of variable A is
(1+2+3+3+4+5+7+8)/(8)=33/8=4.1
