When we're using opinion polls, the degree to which an opinion would and will be subject to change is known as it's stability - b. The more the opinion poll can be changed and is itself malleable, the less stable it is and vice versa.

An opinion is categorized as stable if it's not easily change/swayed by a simple argument. People whose opinion has a high stability is usually really know their stuff about the subject, or simply a fanatic
