Begins when Light independent reactions gets the energy from sunlight to create ATP and NADPH molecules given off oxygen gas. It converts carbon dioxide
into carbohydrate molecules named glucose

calvin cycle starts when the energy of light is processed to chemical energy within the cells of plants. The ATP molecules made power the Calvin cycle. The Calvin cycle utilizes energy to create carbohydrates from h20 and co2.
