He played 20 and won 2, this means that he lost 18. The way to write a ratio is this (firsts answer:second answer). So your answer is 18:2

-- He played 20 games.
-- He won 2 of them.
-- He must have lost (20 - 2) = 18 games.
The ratio of (games lost) to (games won) is 18 to 2, or 9 to 1 .
He ought to consider taking up a different game, other than chees.
