V=LWH
cube
V=L^3
if it is doubled, then each dimention (LWH) is dobubled
since L=W=H
V=(2L)^3
V=8L^3
compared to orignal
L^3 vs 8L^3 it is 8 times more

5^3=125
1000/125=8, not 2
