ok,ur answer would be 450,000. since the number before the ten thousands place is less than 5, u cant round the answer,u can only make it as a different number,so thas why it ends up as 450,000

450,000. What you do is you just estimate the ten thousand it is closest to. If the number was, lets say, 458,333, the nearest ten thousand would be 460,000, because 58 is closer to 60 than 1. Hope I helped!
