HELP PLEASE!!!!!   How much heat is absored by by 20g granite boulder as energy from the sun causes its temperature to change from 10C to 29C (specific heat capacity of granite is 0.1 Cal/g C)

so.......

here,
Mass (m) = 20g
Change in Temperature (ΔT) = 29C-10C
= 19C
Specific Heat Capacity = 0.1 cal/ g C

now, plug the info. into the formula,

specific heat capacity = quantity of heat / (mass * change in temperature)
0.1 = quantity of heat / (20 * 19)
0.1 = quantiy of heat / 380
0.1 * 380 = quantity of heat
38 = quantity of heat

so the granite rock boulder absorbed 38 calories of heat energy from the sun
