remember
∛(mn)=(∛m)(∛n)
and
if you have the 3rd root of a negative number, the root will be negative

∛-216=(∛216)(∛-1)
we know that 216=6^3 (you know, just fun fact)
6(∛-1)
3rd root of -1 is -1 ((-1)^3=-1)
6(-1)
-6
