First, you put it into y=mx+b form
5x-y=35
-y=-5x+35
y=5x-35
To find the x-intercept, set y=0
0=5x-35
35=5x
x-intercept=7
To find y-intercept, set x=0
y=5(0)-35
y-intercept=-35
