area of a circle : 3.14r^2 or ( pi symbol)r^2 3.14 = pi 3 = radius 3.14 • 3^2 Your gonna multiply 3.14 by 3 to the second power. 3.14 • 9 area = 28.26 or 28.27

Hi there! A=πr²=π*3²=28.27433 ft². Round 28.27443 to 28.72. Therefore, the area of the rug will be 28.27ft²
