I believe that the answer would be 2,000 because 97 divided by 2 is 47 so 500 • 2 = 1,000 • 2 = 2,000

doubling formula
F=P(2)^(t/d)
F=furte amount
P=present amount
t=time elapsed
d=doubling time
F=500(2)^(94/47)
F=500(2)^2
F=500(4)
F=2000
