I think the best answer would be naturalism. In the twentieth century, realism led to naturalism. Naturalism was an outgrowth of the literary realism. It is a literary movement which uses detailed realism to depict social conditions and environment has a unbreakable link to humans. Its goal is to show believable everyday reality.
