spheres so
V=(1/3)pir^3
d/2=r
calculate each

baseball
d=3.8
r=d/2=3.8/2=1.9
V=(1/3)pi(1.9)^2
V=(1/3)pi(3.61)
V=1.203333pi in^3

basketball
r=4.78
V=(1/3)pi(4.78)^2
V=(1/3)pi(22.8484)
V=7.616133333pi

how many times larger is basketbal thatn baseball?
baseballV times x=baskeballV
1.203333pi times x=7.616133333pi
dvide both sides by 1.20333333pi
x=6.3291966759002770083102494828032 times

or you could not simplify the fracitons and get
22.8484/3.61 times
