from experience, you do not always increse the ingredients proportinally or else you will get some srprise

but this rpblem assumes that

basically
since 2 and 1/3 increased to 7
we have to increase flour also
by how much?

2 and 1/3 times how many=7
7/3 times what=7
multpily both sides by 3/7 to clea fraction
what=21/7
what=3 times

so flour has to increase by 3 time aslso
2=orignal flour
2*3=6
flowur is now 6

B
another way is
(2 and 1/3)/7=2/x
solve for x

B is anser
