Hi,

1 m² = 100 cm times 100 cm = 10,000 cm²

If there are 23 grass plants in 100 cm², then an entire m² contains:

23\cdot(10,000\;cm^2)/(100\;cm^2)=23\cdot 100=2,300\;grass\;plants.

Green eyes.
