Area of rectangle =

We have to find the length of rectangle .

Area of rectangle =
length* breadth

Substitute the values in the given formula


216=x* (2)/(3)x


216=(2)/(3)x^2


2x^2=216* 3 By multiplication property of equality


x^2=(216* 3)/(2) ( by division property of equality )


x=√(324)=18

Substitute the value then we get

Width of rectangle =
(2)/(3)* 18=12 m

Hence, the length of rectangle =18 m.
