1/4 h - 3/4h = -7 -9
-1/2 h = -16
h = 32

remember you can do anything to an equation as long as you do it to both sides
try to get the unknown by itself
we hates fractions
times everybody by 4
h+36=3h-28
minus h both sides
36=2h-28
add 28 both sides
64=2h
divide both sides by 2
32=h
