Okay, here we have this:

Considering that 1 gallon = 16 cups we obtain the following:

3 gallons =3*16 cups

3 gallons =48 cups.

And, if we have that:

4 cups of milk = 12 servings.

48 cups of milk = x servings

x=(48*12)/4=576/4=144

Finally we obtain that the total servings that can be made from three gallons is equal to 144.
