Change in the family structure, Due to urbanization with families needing money and the woman being expected to stay home and look after the children, started the gender discrimination. Bad working conditions. As more people came to the cities, more people needed jobs. As a result there was an abundant supply of able workers who desperately needed work and so would work for the far less than the bare minimum. Decline in the standard of living, Due to large scale of people moving from the country to the country to the cities, there was a shortage of fresh water....
Theres a lot more like, child labor, unemployment, the division of the classes, pollution, labour unions, overcrowding, etc.
i hope this helps..
