Is y+6x=-14 quadratic?

no, because it doen't follow the quadratic equation formula.

something x squared plus/minus something x plus/minus something

normally it is a function where you have y=output or f(x)

minus 6x
y=-6x-14
f(x)=-6x-14

quadratic functions are second degree, meaning they have x^2 as hiehgest exponnet

the highest is x^1

it is NOT quadratic
