V=legnth times width times height
pool=40 by 20 by 4
pool=40 times 20 times 4
pool=3200 ft^3
hot tub is 1/4 of pool
hot tub=1/4 times 3200=800

total is pool+hot tub=3200+800=4000 ft^3
