The Axis Powers during World War ll were Germany, Italy, and Japan. Germany was the main aggressor and Italy was kind of tagging along with Germany. But, when Japan attacked the United States at Pearl Harbor, Germany was like "oh your really cool for attacking the U.S. so come join us"

Germany, Italy, and Japan were the major axis powers in World War II. Minors that joined the axis powers later on were Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Thailand, and other various states.
