2^3/5^2= .32

I couldn't get it as exponential notation, but here is the final answer

y9/y3= y3

and these two, you just divide ad regular numbers and the insert the y

Hope this helped!!!

Explanation:

y9 divided by y3

(y^9)/(y^3)

When the base of the exponent are same and they are in division then we subtract the exponents.

(y^9)/(y^3)=y^(9-3)=y^6

2^3 divided by 5^2

(2^3)/(5^2)

The exponents of base are not same, so we cannot subtract the exponents

2^3=8 ,
5^2= 25

(8)/(25) = 0.32 is a decimal number
