Volume of cone = (pi • r^2 • h)/3

If the diameter of the circle on the cone is 8 then the radius is 4.

V = (pi • 4^2 • 9)/3

V = 48pi in^3

Surface are of cone given radius.
= pi • r^2 + pi • r • square root of r^2 + h^2

A = 3.14 • 4^2 + 3.14 • 4 square root of 4^2 + 9^2

A = 16 • 3.14 + 4 square root of 97 • 3.14

A = 50.24 + 4 square root of 304.58

A = 50.24 + 69.81

A = 120.05
