In the sentence: We loved our new bunk beds.

WE (subject) loved (predicator) our new bunk beds (D.object).

predicate

If in a sentence you are able to find the verb, but not the subject, you can find the verb for example, ask the following question: Who loved the new bunk beds? then you will find the subject easily.

The subject of the sentence We loved our new bunk beds is we.
Loved is the predicate, and our new bunk beds is the object.
