We are asked to determine the value of the angle. To do that we will use the function cosine, since this is defined as:

\cos \theta=(adjacent)/(hypotenuse)

Replacing the values:

\cos \theta=(12)/(13)

Now we use the inverse function of cosine to get the angle:

\theta=\cos ^(-1)((12)/(13))

Solving the operation:

\theta=22.62

Therefore, the angle is 23 degrees approximately.
