Well simply we need to understand how many feet there are in a yard
in this case
1 yard = 3 feet
1 foot = 12 inches
so 12 x 3 = 36
So the total perimeter of her scarf was 36 inches!
so some possible dimentions of her scarf could be 7 inches wide and 11 inches long.
if we check that
7 + 7 + 11 + 11 = 36!
so this is a correct possibility
