I need help with #11. I've just started Trig today. The back of the book says the answer is 0.75 if that helps.

Hi,
BC²=CA²-BA²=13-9=4=2² (Pythagore)

CB/ED=AB/AD (Thalès)
2/2.5=3/AD==>AD=3*2.5/2=7.5/2
DB=DA-AB=7.5/2-3=0.75
I don't know how you call this 2 theorems (sorry)
