A cone and a cylinder have the same size base. The cones height is 6 times the height of the cylinder. How much greater is the volume of cone?

The cone's volume is 2 times the volume of the cylinder. A cone's volume is normally 1/3 the volume of a cylinder, but because its height is 6 times larger than that of the cylinder, it is 6/3, or 2, times the volume of the cylinder.

Hope this helps!
