Help me solve please 4x+10=6x

The answer is 5.
4x + 10 = 6x
-4x -4x
10 = 2x
/2 /2
5 = x

remember, you can do anything to an equaiton as long as you do it to both sides
get x on one side
4x+10=6x
minus 4x from both sides
4x-4x+10=6x-4x
0+10=2x
10=2x
divide 2
5=x
