Explanation:

The owner of a music store received a shipment of CDs = 1,532

The same number of CDs were in 36 boxes

Therefore, we divide total number of CDs by 36 boxes =
(1532)/(36)

= 42.5555 CDs rounded to 42 CDs

So 42 CDs are in each 36 boxes.

Now the remaining CDs = 1532 - (42 Ă— 36)

= 1532 - 1512

= 20 remaining CDs.

There are 20 remaining CDs in 37th box.
