The answer would be : The second battle of Al Alamein
The battle happened in 1942 at Alam Halfa. In order to win the war, the British imposed a brilliant tactic to cut off most of Afrika Korps' supply such as food , Fuel, and ammunition. After that they blocked the Korps' Retreat path, which eventually led to their defeat
