We have to find the volue of the prism.

The base of the prism is a rectangle.

Hence the area of the base given by

A=lb.

Here l= 12 in and b=24 in

Since the answer is in feet, we have to convert inches into feet.

We know that 1 feet = 12 inches.

Hence l= 1 feet and b=2 feet.

Hence the area of the base is

A=2*1=2

Now the volume of the prism is

V=A*18\text{ in}

Note that 18 inches=1.5 feet.
