Remove the parentheses: ( a) = a

(6)/(x+7) - (3)/(x-2)

Find the least common denominator:

(x+7)(x-2)

Adjust fractions based on the LCD :

(6(x-2))/((x+7)(x-2)) - (3(x+7))/((x+7)(x-2))

= (6(x-2)-3(x+7))/((x+7)(x-2))

Expand :

6(x-2)-3(x+7)

6 x - 12 - 3 x - 21

6x - 3 x - 12 - 21

3x - 33

(3x-33)/((x+7)(x-2))

hope this helps!
