There are 12 players on the team.

After two rounds around the circle of fans, each name was yelled at least 6 times except for 4 names that were yelled 7 times.

This indicates that to complete the rounds of fans, the complete list of names was yelled 6 times and 4 of them were called a seventh,

To determine the number of fans, multiply the number of members of the team by 6 and then add the extra four:

(12\cdot6)+4=72+4=76

There was a total of 76 names yelled after the second round was finished.

They made two rounds around the circle, so you have to divide the result by 2 to determine the number of fans:

(76)/(2)=38

There are 38 fans in the group
